MISSION
Central to my mission is my belief in the interconnectedness of all beings, and that each person who is thriving is a benefit to the global community, as a whole. I believe that by helping you become the best version of yourself, we are working together to make the world a better place. I aim to achieve this by showing up authentically in my work and helping each of my clients set and work toward goals that will empower them to flourish in their lives.
VISION
At Blue Phoenix, we envision a world where emotional healing is normalized, supported, and deeply respected — not rushed, silenced, or stigmatized. A world where each person feels safe to slow down, speak up, and rebuild from the inside out. Our vision is to help shift the cultural conversation around therapy — from symptom-fixing to soul-level restoration — where people are empowered to become who they were always meant to be.
Specialties
At Blue Phoenix Therapy, Michelle offers compassionate, trauma-informed support for individuals, couples, and new parents navigating life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and relationship challenges. Her specialties include treating PTSD, anxiety, depression, and the effects of trauma, as well as helping clients improve communication, build emotional resilience, and reconnect with their authentic selves. Modalities include EMDR, CBT with mindfulness, somatic awareness, and Gottman-informed couples work.

Life transitions — whether becoming a mother, ending a relationship, starting over after loss, or simply feeling the ground shift beneath your feet — can be both disorienting and deeply transformative. At Blue Phoenix Therapy, Michelle specializes in supporting women through these pivotal seasons. With a trauma-informed, holistic approach, she creates a safe space where you can pause, process, and reconnect with who you’re becoming. Whether you’re navigating identity changes, emotional overwhelm, or a longing for something more, therapy can help you rise from the uncertainty with clarity, resilience, and renewed purpose.

The transition into parenthood—whether it’s your first child or your fourth—can bring joy, exhaustion, identity shifts, and emotional overwhelm all at once. Michelle offers compassionate, nonjudgmental support for new and expecting parents navigating these changes. From postpartum anxiety and relationship stress to feelings of isolation or loss of self, therapy provides a grounding space to explore what you're feeling and find your center again. Michelle’s trauma-informed and holistic approach incorporates mindfulness, nervous system regulation, and gentle strategies to help you reconnect with yourself while showing up fully for your family. Because thriving parents create thriving families.

Every relationship faces challenges, but with the right tools and support, couples can learn to reconnect, rebuild trust, and communicate with greater clarity and compassion. Michelle works with couples at all stages—whether you’re navigating conflict, adjusting to parenthood, recovering from a breach of trust, or simply feeling stuck. Her approach is grounded in the Gottman Method, a research-based framework that helps partners understand each other’s emotional needs, manage conflict constructively, and deepen intimacy. Sessions focus on real communication skills, emotional safety, and rebuilding connection—so you can rise together with more understanding, empathy, and intention.

Trauma can affect your body, emotions, and sense of safety long after the event has passed. Michelle offers trauma-informed therapy that helps regulate the nervous system and gently process difficult experiences. She uses EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)—a proven method that helps the brain reprocess painful memories so they feel less charged over time. Through EMDR and mindfulness-based approaches, Michelle helps clients move from survival mode to deeper healing, so they can feel grounded, resilient, and whole again.

When life feels heavy, it can be hard to see a way forward. Whether you're living with anxiety, depression, or constant emotional overwhelm, Michelle provides a safe, supportive space to explore what’s beneath the surface. Her approach blends evidence-based tools like CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) with mindfulness and somatic awareness to help you shift patterns, regulate your nervous system, and reconnect with a sense of hope and stability. You don’t have to navigate it alone—and you don’t have to stay stuck.
Why Blue Phoenix?

In mythology, the phoenix is a powerful symbol of rebirth. After fire and ashes, it rises again — stronger, wiser, transformed. The blue phoenix represents emotional depth, intuition, and healing through presence.
This is the heart of Michelle’s work: helping you navigate life’s most difficult chapters — trauma, grief, anxiety, addiction, transition — and emerge not just surviving, but soaring.
You are not defined by what you’ve been through. At Blue Phoenix, we believe in your capacity to rise.
